We like it green

The priviledged natural situation and landscape that surrounds the Camping Las Palmeras motivates us to act in a sustainable and responsible way, being able to develop at the same time a tourist activity integrated in the environment. Within the context of this policy, in 2014 Las Palmeras obtained EMAS certification, granted by the Department of Territory and Sustainability of the Generalitat de Catalunya.

Environmental statement
More than 80% of irrigation water is reused from rainfall.
Solar energy to heat shower water, 65% saving of fuel.
Waste recycling points throughout the campsite.

Partnerships

The campsite collaborates with various entities and administrations in the following actions:

  • The campsite finances the Bosc de la Marquesa Foundation
  • Protection and cleaning of the Bosque de la Marquesa natural park
  • Protection of the dunes of the Playa Larga beach

«Km 0» Products

The campsite also encourages the consumption of ‘Km 0’ products directly produced in the agricultural area next to the campsite, such as:

  • The extra virgin olive oil «El Trull»
  • Vegetables from our ecologic garden

Workshops

It also encourages the little ones to take part in workshops such as:

  • «Discover the Mediterranean vegetable garden»
  • Building bird nesting boxes

The staff are very friendly everywhere you. The sea is lovely and clear and is shallow for a while. The shop has fresh bread and cakes every day, worth getting.

Various accommodation options available. Camping, Carvan, Lodges and the Bungalows. Each section has access to the beach. The front row of beach bungalows have a private access to the beach… Staff so friendly and helpfull. All speak good English.

I think Las Palmeras is a very good value for the price option. The beach is unbelievable and services good overall. Walking through the sand at sunset … is very special. I really recommend this resort.

Clean and beautifully appointed on miles of golden sand. Nice swimming pool. Camped and had a chalet on two separate occasions. The bungalow chalets win for me. I doubt you’ll find better.

This is one of the best campsites I’ve ever stayed in! We stayed in one of the bungalows; it was clean, well equiped and modern. The site has a whole host of facilities; bars, restaurant, tennis courts, swimming pool, wifi, supermarket, bike hire, TV hire and watersports.
